Watch as asha takes us through the ingredients required and the process of making these lovely Methina Thepla. Made with whole wheat four, methi, spices and lots of masalas, theplas are a great alternative to deep fried munchies and a perfect tea time snack.

Ingredients:

1 cup of whole-wheat flour, sieved beforehand

1 tbsp besan or gram flour

½ cup freshly chopped fenugreek leaves

1 tbsp jaggery

1 tbsp ginger chilli paste

2 tbsp yogurt

½ tsp turmeric

½ tsp coriander powder

½ tsp cumin powder

1 tsp red chilli powder

1 tbsp oil

Water to bind the dough
