Curd Rice is a staple food in the southern part of India. Though each region has slight variation the basic method of making curd rice remains the same. This recipe is a quick fix, very healthy and easy to digest. Often served with pickles or spicy chutneys, curd rice is possibly the most consumed meal in south India.
Its made using fresh curd, milk and flavored with mustard, curry leaves & chillies.

Ingredients
1 bowl of mashed cooked rice
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup of curd
1 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
Few curry leaves
1 tsp green chillies
1 tsp ginger
A little hing (asafoetida)
Salt to taste
Chilli soaked in butter milk brine and dried in the sun
