Toronto's embattled Mayor Rob Ford made headlines last year, with accusations that he smoked crack-cocaine.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) TORONTO MAYOR ROB FORD SAYING:

"Yes, I have smoked crack cocaine. But, no, do I? Am I an addict? No."

And received treatment at a rehab facility.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) TORONTO MAYOR ROB FORD SAYING:

But now, Rob Ford is undergoing tests at a Toronto hospital for a tumor in his abdomen.

"It's a fair size. I can't give you it in centimeter's..."

Dr. Zane Cohen briefed the media on Ford's health Thursday night:

"He is resting comfortably. He has some pain. We are giving him some pain medication."
