As Scotland’s referendum on independence approaches, separatist politicians in the Spanish region of Catalonia hope it could add momentum to their own campaign.
Catalonia’s regional government is set to hold its own referendum on November the 9th.
That’s despite the Spanish parliament refusing to recognise the vote back in April.
Judges could still scupper the plans for a referendum.
Spain’s constitutional court will rule on their legality in the coming weeks.
