Supporters of former Haitian President Jean-Bertrande Aristide keep vigil outside his home.
Police have held an arrest warrant for the former leader in connection with a money laundering case since mid-August.
But since then, his supporters have blocked the entrance to his Port-au-Prince home with trees and burning tires, and no arrest has been made.
They accuse local authorities of political persecution against their former president.
Aristide, seen here in 2013 arriving for a court appearance, is accused of embezzling hundreds of millions of dollars from the government over several years.
He's a former priest-turned politician and still very popular among Haiti's poor.
The head of police has been called before a judge to explain why no arrest has been made.
The chief says police are holding several arrest warrants for Aristide, but didn't give further details.
