It's been 50 years since Aston Martin became James Bond's vehicle of choice.

The film was "Goldfinger" and 007 drove a DB5.

And to celebrate, Christie's in London is auctioning a gold-plated replica of the car.

Mitch Barnes, a model maker with Propshop, says it comes complete with Bond special effects.

SOUNDBITE: Mitch Barnes, model maker, saying (English):

"The number plates move and we can also do the machine guns which pop out -- these are the 50 cal machine guns for dealing with pesky traffic I'd imagine. And at the rear we have a bullet-proof screen that I can operate as well that pops up."

The model costs a pretty penny and could set a prospective bidder back more than 100 thousand U.S. dollars.

But if that's too rich for your blood, there are other items up for grabs, like this Omega wristwatch created for the movie's anniversary.

And there's an original British cinema poster, as well as an LP soundtrack, signed by Dame Shirley Bas
