Relief and rescue operations in the flood-hit state of Jammu and Kashmir have been stepped up with Indian Air Force using choppers and planes to rescue those stranded in the worst hit areas even as the death toll has crossed 150.Srinagar is one of the worst hit areas with water levels showing no sign of receding. Several areas are still inundated with people appealing for help.
