[]If you want to make the test realistic you cannot just put in less fuel as this would give non representative accelerations throughout the test. Sure, you could try to offset this by throttling the engine, yet there is no reason to go on with such complexity. Moreover in case of survival you can also test the stage stability in ascent without payload and aerodynamic fairings (win-win). So the answer is "obviously" not to carry less fuel.
The booster might not behave that well... this might not be the case. With current telemetry you could go from detecting the anomaly to igniting the motor in a matter of 20-40 milliseconds. That is unlikely to have the whole system changing much in attitude.

[]There was a period of time when I was a child where I didn't eat bacon. I ordered a BLT sandwich at a restaurant and was pissed it had bacon, as bacon wasn't in the description of the ingredients. I just thought BLT was the name of the sandwich - I didn't know that B and L and T actually stood for ingredients in the sandwich.
Still though...if you're going to list any ingredients, list all the ingredients.
Similar thing happened to me as an adult when I was a vegetarian and ordered a Denver omelette. In case you didn't know, Denver omelettes have ham. I didn't know that, and ham was not listed in the ingredients.
Excuse me for not learning the names for every type of meal and memorizing all the ingredients included in those meals.
[]And you even corrected me. It reduced in size significantly. Not slightly. Meaning if it's initial size and trajectory remained the way it was when this warning was released, it's almost certain there would have been fatalities.
I feel for you if you packed your shit up, left your home and am frustrated to possibly find out it was all for nothing. That would be fucking annoying.
The alternative could be not being warned, not being evacuated, and waking up to a living nightmare moments before you die.

[]There's a budget hotel chain in the UK that uses the bathroom door twice. When you open the door all you can see is the bath and the sink. The toilet is behind the now open door in its own cubicle, but isn't visible until you close the door again.
I think it's so one person can use the toilet in private whilst another uses the shower, but if you're not aware of the design it's a bit WTF? when you first look for it.
