Surely he would know if the test didn't go in his favor - it took him over a 100 questions to determine it, yet Rachel immediately recognized that she had failed the test, despite both of them not telling her. She pursues Deckard to confirm it, but deep down she knows. If Deckard took the test himself - he would probably also recognize he is failin. Just like Leon immediately knew he failed his test (his strategy was to act dumb, so the people testing him would just give up, but the Blade Runner would still proceed with the test, and Leon knew his answers would give him away, so he killed the guy). Deckard would also know if he had failed or not, so him having the test done on him would give away if he is human or replicant. You might argue that the test is an implanted memory - by why didn't they do it with Rachel - she was supposed to be like Deckard - not knowing she was a replicant, but she never took the test - you think a corporation that screens lower tier workers would not have a fixed procedure for higher teer staff to be tested too? Tyrell would be the kind of guy who would order all of the employees take the test on a yearly basis... why was the Blade Runner there in the first place? Ah, he was searching for replicants you might say... but he was human, there is a scene, where Deckard visits him in the hospital. Why would they sent out a non replicant Blade Runner, when they have replicant Blade Runners in the storage? Why would there be still human Blade Runners when the Nexus 6 is so much more advanced and dangerous? They've been in the use for years, so other human Blade Runners would've probably run into them. Or, are human Blade Runners inactive for years untill suddenly one replicant decides to run amok? I believe there are multiple accounts of replicants, this time they are organized, and well armed - and already killed the best agent on the force... so they had to get one better, only he was retired...
