French president Francois Hollande’s popularity has plummeted to an all time low.
In a further setback his junior minister for trade Thomas Thevenoud has quit over his own personal tax affairs, just nine days after getting the job in a government reshuffle.
It is perhaps the last thing he needs, as a bombshell book by his discarded first lady Valerie Trierweiler paints a very unflattering picture of the president.
Valerie Trierweiler’s book “Thank You For This Moment“portrays Hollande as cold, callous and someone who pokes fun at the poor.
Many have dismissed her work as the revenge of a woman scorned.
But with the French economy in a rut, near record unemployment and
