You’re never too young to be bullied. What do I mean by that? Well, statistics show that between the fourth and eighth grade is when bullying really takes hold, but see, the foundation is already set.
It starts as early as kindergarten, maybe first grade, when things start happening, how they handle their emotions, how these children learn to esteem themselves. And when I say learn to esteem themselves, it’s really a choice. Teaching our kids that they have a choice, that they are valuable, that they are worth, that foundation starts.
You’re never too young to be bullied. You’re also never too young to truly esteem yourself. Understand your self-appreciation, your self-worth, your self-acceptance, and growing from that, understanding how to process your emotions.
That maybe your child was called a name, that’s not necessarily bullying. It’s not cool. It’s not fun. But it’s not necessarily bullying. Understanding how to process that emotion so it doesn’t affect your child, that’s the key to never too young to be bullied.
