A history teacher in California is under fire for some nasty tweets she posted about her students. Her name is Krista Hodges, and she has been disciplined by school administrators for her social media ranting.

She received a written reprimand, but still has a job teaching. The Tweets that got her in trouble were posted before the end of the school year.

In one of them, she noted “I already want to stab some kids. Is that bad? 19 more days.” Another post read “I am getting Starbucks for sure before school tomorrow. That way I'll be refreshed AND have something to dump on the little a-holes."

There were others that weren’t any nicer. She posted about the kids who test her patience who led her to have what she called an ‘itchy trigger finger’. In an earlier Tweet from May she made it known she wished two of her students would get hit by a car.

The Tweets went viral and many of her students saw what she wrote. Many of the kids are in her corner and believe she was only venting.

A good number of parents, however, weren’t happy about the posts. Regardless of the conflicting opinions, Hodges continues to teach. She is reportedly apologetic about the Tweets and has since deleted her Twitter account.
