Six women are murdered every day in Mexico, half of whom are victims of feminicide according to the Citizen's Observatory. Some blame the problem on the many officials who refuse to issue any gender alerts and while feminicide has been classified as a crime, much needs to be done before it can be effectively investigated, punished and eradicated eliminated. teleSUR
