Following a proposal by the Maharashtra home department , Deputy Inspector General of Police Sunil Paraskar was on Tuesday (August 26)suspended. The action comes after Paraskar was accused of rape and molestation by a model. The proposal to suspend Paraskar was sent to chief minister Prithviraj Chavan earlier today.
