The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has once again appealed to the government and the protesting parties to understand the critical condition of the country and try to resolve the political crisis through dialogue.
In a statement Mr. Hussain said, “ Pakistan is passing through a difficult time and threatened by internal and external challenges. The present political has caused 8 billion rupees to the national exchequer.”
“The demands put forward by Pakitan Awami Tehreek Chairman Dr. Tahir ul Qadri reflects the aspiration of the public. His demands do not violets the constitution and laws. The government should convene a meeting of its leaders to discuss the legitimate demands of Dr. Tahir ul Qadri and accept them. We are running out of time. We have to take quick decisions. We should not waste the time for dialogue in discussion and deliberation. We will lament of the loss if we missed the time given by God for dialogue.”
Mr. Hussain has constituted a member of MQM’s senior people on emergency basis and assigned them the tasks to hold meeting with political and religious parties so we can find solutions for the resolution of the present political crisis in a democratic way. Mr. Hussain warned that time was running out and the next 72 hours was very important.
