We are getting super excited forAriana Grande to open the MTV Video Music Awards, and apparently, so is Ariana! The star dished to E! about how surreal the entire thing seems to her right now and how honored she is to be performing.
First, Ariana explained how she could not believe that she is singing at the VMAs, let alone performing the opening act! "To go from performing on the pre-show last year to opening the VMAs this year is utterly insane," she said, "And just too crazy to process."
Ariana definitely has blown her fans away this year! With the release of tons of new hits as well as her upcoming album My Everything, we can see why she has been asked to perform!
Ariana went on to explain how the upcoming event barely feels real to her, saying, "And I feel like I won't actually process it until after it happens, and then I'll process it as I'm watching it, and then I'll be like... OK, that happened."
We totally get that! Performing at the VMAs is such an incredible honor we are sure most singers have trouble processing it! We have total faith in Ariana though to put on an incredible performance and blow her fans away.
