Sant Joan Despí (Barcelona), Aug 20 (EFE).- After taking a day off to relax, the Barcelona squad went back to work on Wednesday without Pedro Rodriguez, who had to miss the training session due to the gastroenteritis that also kept him from playing Monday's Joan Gamper Cup. Neither goalie Marc-André Ter Stegen nor defender Thomas Vermaelen joined their teammates during the workout, as they were given specific work to recover from their respective injuries. The rest of the team began preparing the kickoff of La Liga on Sunday against Elche.
