They say all dogs go to heaven.
Pups and their owners come from far and wide to receive their blessings from father Obbermaier at this El Alto church in Bolivia.
They're honoring the day of Saint Roch, the patron Saint of Dogs.
Antonia says her furry friend gets sick a lot -- and hopes father Obbermaier can help her dog get better.

"I wanted to have her blessed so that she won't get sick because she gets sick all the time. She is like my daughter. She is the sister of my daughters."
But the holy water isn't all too elegant -- the priest uses a mop and bucket to bless each dog.
And the line for a blessing is expansive.
All shapes and sizes, they're all God's dogs, father Obbermaier says.

"God loves us, he loves the dogs, the small children, the adults."
