Anybody/Anypony who knows me knows I love to play puzzle games, and this game is no exception. What's funny is that while I grew up playing the US counterpart known as "Tetris Attack!", there was another ver. of this game, one that was only made in Japan (and maybe some parts of Europe as well) called "Panel de Pon". Technically speaking, these two games are one in the same, but there are also some differences found in each of them, and that's why I'll be showcasing both titles. Hope you all enjoy!
"...Wait, that doesn't sound right. Since when did Panel de Pon and Tetris Attack! have a crossover? What the hell is going on here?!?
[NOTE] April Fools guys. Don't get me wrong though, I will complete my entire run-through of the series by getting back to Panel de Pon. But for now, I'm gonna get all of Tetris Attack! out of the way first.
Official title of this part: Vs. Mode Part 1 - Yoshi fights his friends FOR his friends
One day on Yoshi's Island, massive amounts of rain started to fall more frequently that usual. What more, all of Yoshi's friends (...who actually weren't really his friends from the looks of SMW2: Yoshi's Island) have had their minds taken over by some mysterious spell. Somehow, in some way, it didn't effect Yoshi at all.
It's also a good thing that Yoshi discovered how to remove the spell from his friends (even though the game won't tell us how that's possible, of course.) It's up to Yoshi to save all his friends and stop whoever it was that's causing this strange flash flood that's consuming all of Yoshi's Island."
