Nuseir Yassin graduated from Harvard University in May 2014 and decided to spend two months seeing the world. That summer saw a conflict break out involving Nuseir’s native Israel, so he wanted to do something on his travels that would remind people of their similarities instead of their differences.

With an unsolved Rubik’s cube in hand, Nuseir travelled to 11 countries and asked the people he met to make one move each on the cube. 84 moves later, the cube was solved. Credit: YouTube/Nuseir Yassin
