Here is some of the new copyright policy for Twitch.

New Policy Changes on Twitch (Starting August 6th, 2014):
▪ After you finish your live broadcast, it will be saved automatically in your past broadcasts, though it will not be saved forever like before. Now, saved broadcasts can be saved from 3 days to a maximum of 14 days for regular broadcasters or 60 days for Turbo subscribers or Twitch partners.
▪ Highlights will be saved indefinitely, however there is now a limit of 2 hours in length whereas previously there was no limit. If you wish to preserve past broadcasts or highlights, Twitch suggests to export said videos to YouTube or create additional highlights to ensure it will remain intact.
▪ A new video manager is introduced allowing for easier access for creating highlights, exporting past broadcasts, and letting you know when your broadcasts will expire.
▪ Audible Magic, an audio recognition service, will detect copyrighted material such as third-party music and will mute the video for 30 minutes, even if the track itself is as little as 3 minutes in length. This means *any* recognized track will block the audio track of the video for 30 minutes, removing any game or commentary audio. This will only affect past broadcasts and highlights, *not* live broadcasts.
▪ Twitch recommends streamers who do not want their saved broadcasts to be flagged for copyrighted material to turn off the music volume entirely or mute/silent any other devices that may playback music on air.
