A woman in Ohio is at the center of controversy after posting photos of her infant granddaughter on Facebook.

West Columbus resident Jackie Sheaks shared a photo of her grandchild on the social media site, showing the baby with duck tape around her face.

The strong adhesive was holding a pacifier inside her mouth. Sheaks also posted a photo of the 2-month-old infant inside a roasting pan with potatoes.

She thought she was putting her own spin on traditional posed baby photos, where children are posed in hat boxes and such, but not many people found her versions appealing.

Sheaks said her family was just being playful, but local law enforcement got wind of the photos and the sheriff showed up at her doorstep. Children Services also made an appearance at the home.

Although both cops and Children Services investigated, the family hasn’t heard anything about possible charges. Sheaks commented “We wanted to share it with friends because everybody that knows us, knows we play around like that. We would never harm our children, never.”

The mother of the child doesn’t have a problem with the photos, but the family vows to stop posting the controversial prop-filled images.
