Astronauts planning a mission to Mars will reportedly have a year and half to explore the surface of our neighboring planet.

Scientists at Johnson Space Center are developing the new Mars space exploration vehicle.

The cabin is pressurized for the comfort and safety of the astronauts, and is designed so that they can explore even more places on the surface of the alien planet.

A NASA official who introduced the rover in a video published on Smithsonian.com said that with the new design, astronauts could spend days at a time driving around the red planet.

Another new feature for the rover is the ability for the wheels to move in any direction, which allows it to easily dock with the habitation pod, or other rovers.

It also has a suit port located on the back of the vehicle, so that the spacesuit stays outside of the cabin to prevent contamination from dust and other particles.

This feature was inspired by the Apollo moon missions, where dust from the moon caused problems with some of the equipment.

The suit port also saves a lot of time by keeping the suits constantly pressurized.

So instead of spending hours taking the suits on and off, astronauts can be in and out in fifteen minutes, which gives them more time to explore the surface of Mars.
