The Navy recently shared some footage that shows what its like for the F/A-18F Super Hornet pilots. The aircrafts were taking off from the USS George H.W. Bush.
At first a pilot is seen but then the view changes to show the Earth below from an elevated vantage point. The endless sky is a beautiful shade of blue that of course can be seen from the ground but in the cockpit, the view is seemingly out of this world.
It certainly shows viewers the sights pilots get to witness but also how the aircrafts are controlled. The mission of the F/A-18F Super Hornets is a very serious one, being that they are scheduled to conduct targeted airstrikes in Iraq and deliver humanitarian aid.
