Shivling above the Tapovan shelf, from Gaumukh

2015-01-06 5

A lovely shot of Mr. Shivling and the Bhagirathi 1, II and III peaks as seen from Gaumukh. Also, see a close-up of Mr. Shivling above Tapovan / Tapoban. Nandanvan lies at the base of the Bhagirathi trio of peaks. The solid dome of Shivling is a real mountaineering challenge.
