The Barking Deer or Muntjac (Muntiacus muntjac) is a common modest sized deer found across India. Here, these Barking Deer are seen in the Kaziranga National Park in Assam. Known as kakar in Hindi, the Barking deer can be tamed and can adjust to a variety of habitat.
