Offerings to the Dalai Lama at Spiti Kalachakra

An audience with His Holy Highness, the Dalai Lama / gunlun, the religious and spiritual head of the Tibetan government in exile and Buddhist people all over the world. Here, he is seen teeling the beads of his rosary, chanting, and giving blessings to many people who have gathered in Key Gompa in Spiti, Himachal Pradesh, North India for the Kalchakra festival.

The Buddhist festival of the Kalchakra being presided over by the religious and political head of the Tibetan people in exile in India. The festival was held, in this particular instance, at the Buddhist monastery, the Key Gompa in Spiti in Himachal Pradesh, India. Here, we see the Gunlun giving a religious sermon to an audience of lamas or Buddhist monks while a huge crowd of Buddhist people stands outside. Also seen are the Buddhist lucky signs being taken around and distribution of the prasad.
