Doma's Inn is a one of its kind guest house on top of Mullingar Hill in Landour, Mussoorie (north India), known for its famous interior and food. From the burmese Buddha idol to the Tibetan prayer flags, from the dragons to the indo-tibetan murals the guest house will leave you speechless. The interior is not just restricted to one side of the world but from across borders, artifacts and paintings are brought together from different parts of the world like Nepal, Burma, Tibet, Bali, Bhutan and Indian North Eastern states etc. The owner Mr. Tenzing Momo says that it was his wife Tsering's dream to be able to take care of people in her own place which turned into reality through the Guest house. The best part is the tariff which is surprisingly affordable.
Landour a small cantonment town contiguous with Mussoorie, is about 35 km (22 mi) from the city of Dehradun in the northern state of Uttarakhand in India. The twin towns of Mussoorie and Landour, together, are a well-known British Raj-era hill station in northern India. Mussoorie-Landour was widely known as the "Queen of the Hills". The name Landour is drawn from Llanddowror, a village in Carmarthenshire in southwest Wales. During the Raj, it was common to give nostalgic English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish names to one's home (or even to British-founded towns), reflecting one's ethnicity. Names drawn from literary works were also common, as from those by Robert Burns, Walter Scott, Thomas Hardy, Robert Louis Stevenson and many others.
