The Grey-winged Blackbird is one of the finest songsters of India! Seen here in Uttarakhand, India.

"The Grey-winged Blackbird male has black plumage on head, neck, back and top of underparts. The lower underparts are black with weak greyish scaled effect.
The upperwing shows conspicuous greyish-white panel. The wing-coverts have whitish tips. The tail is black. The bill is orange-yellow. The eyes are dark brown surrounded by narrow whitish eye-ring. Legs and feet are yellowish-brown."

According to Wikipedia: "The Grey-winged Blackbird (Turdus boulboul) is a species of bird in the Turdidae family.

It is found in the northern parts of the Indian Subcontinent, stretching all the way to the nearer parts of Southeast Asia, including in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Tibet and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests."

This is one of the best songsters in India, along with the Shama and the Magpie-Robin!
