Young India Speaks: Kohsheen Pandita from G.D. Goenka Public School, Jammu

Kohsheen Pandita is in grade 10th at G.D Goenka Public School, Jammu. She enjoys listening to music, reading novels, singing and playing games such as badminton. She says "I have a keen interest in being a part of the different competitions being held in my school. Some of my achievements are: 1) I won second prize at the state level in the international English Olympiad. 11) I won a cash prize of Rs 10,000 as the first prize in a letter writing competition held at Kala Kendra, Jammu. I can't see people suffering so I'm ready to help them. Also, I'm particularly pained to witness the plight of girl child and want to do something about it. I want to keep pace with the changing world and want to see this planet a better place to live in".

Gharana wetland: It is located at R.S. Pura Jammu near the Indo-Pak border. It is the crowded with migratory birds from siberia.
