Supporters hold rainbow coloured flags at Delhi Queer Pride

The sixth Delhi Queer Pride 2013, conducted on Sunday, 24th November 2013. People joined in to celebrate the diversity within the gender spectrum fighting for the cause of gender equality with slogans of "Hum Anek Hai" and "One India".

It was a colourful show of solidarity and support in the Capital on Sunday as over a thousand members and supporters of the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community gathered to participate in the sixth Delhi Queer Pride Parade.

The participants marched from Barakhamba Road in Connaught Place towards Jantar Mantar. The event, which started at 3 pm, went on for four hours.

The Pride Parade is seen as an avenue where people come openly and claim their rights to access public places fearlessly.
