L' Accademia di Musica presents SACRARIUM - Sacred Music In Our Time works by Schubert, Rachmaninov, Tachaikovsky, JS Bach, Cassini, JF Handle, Debussy, Faure, Monteverdi at the Cathedral Church Of the Redemption in New Delhi.

The viola is a bowed string instrument, it is slightly larger than a violin in size and has a deeper sound. Since the 18th century it has been the middle voice of the violin family, between the violin (which is tuned a perfect fifth above it) and the cello (which is tuned an octave below it). The viola is similar in material and construction to the violin.

Ekaterina V. Ivanenko was born in Leningrad in 1984 and is a graduate of St. Petersburg State Conservatory, 2008. Between the years 2010-2012 she was the concertmaster in the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2013 she is joined the Bolshoi Theatre. Winner of the various Russian and International competitions and participants of numerous master-classes, including the R. Wagner festival in Bayreuth and Yuri Bashmet's master sessions.
