Sun-dried clay tiles at a remote village in Madhya Pradesh

2014-08-12 15

These are hand made mud roof tiles dried in the sun to make it hard and use as roof tiles.

This kind of tiles are made by mixing clay and mud, gathered from the banks of river which are later on given tiles shape by hand and baked in the sun. These are mostly seen in the remote village of Madhya Pradesh. Relatively cheaper and environment friendly.
