Police in Lebanon, Tennessee found an active mobile drug lab in the parking lot of a Walmart store. The vehicle was reportedly being used to manufacture the illegal drug methamphetamine.

Employees from Walmart Loss Prevention contacted police to report a possible shoplifting.

A man and woman were both briefly detained in the parking lot, but according to authorities the man didn’t have any stolen products in his possession.

Walmart officials suspected the couple of stealing merchandise that can be used to make methamphetamine, also known as meth.

Upon further investigation of a vehicle that belongs to the couple, the police found a mobile meth lab.

A K9 unit sniffed out the presence of drugs, and police searched the car to find two jars that tested positive for meth.

During the incident, police closed off the area of the parking lot around the vehicle, but the Walmart store stayed open to the public.
