If you had plans to watch Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year this Diwali then well, sorry folks…here comes a little heartbreak! As per reports, this Farah Khan directorial has postponed its release date but don’t freak out…this postpone has pushed its release, just a day after Diwali! In the sense, initially we had Happy New Year being scheduled to release on the Diwali day, .i.e. on the 23rd of September, but now as per the current reports, the film will hit the theatres, only on the 24th of September, one day after the Diwali day! Whoa…but why this sudden postpone? Well, sources reveal that Farah is keen on having the film’s release on Diwali but Shah Rukh Khan has been stressing to believe that people wouldn’t leave their Laxmi Puja and watch the film on the Diwali day, hence the change!
