With their guns held high - Islamic State fighters begin to take prominent landmarks in Iraq - including the Mosul dam.
In this amateur video Reuters cannot independently verify, the Islamic State flag flies above the dam as flatbed trucks patrol areas.
Controlling the dam would mean a major gain for the militant fighters as it would allow them to open the floodgates, threatening cities and civilians.
It also would allow them to cut of a vital source of water and control the electricity.
They've also raised their flags above government buildings, and took control of a nearby hospital.
