U.S. House passes bill reversing Obama deportation policy

Late on Friday night, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a Republican bill.

The bill reverses President Barack Obama's policy, that allows for discretion in deporting undocumented workers who were brought to the country illegally when they were children.

By a vote of 216-192, the House passed the bill that would also stop Obama from expanding his policy to other groups of undocumented immigrants.

The Democratic-controlled Senate is not expected to consider the House bill.
