Luann Alonso got out of bed Thursday to take her dog named Gucci for a walk. While getting ready, she heard a rattling noise near the door. It was about 5 A.M. when she woke up her husband, Jorge to find out what was going on.
Before opening up the door, they peeked outside to see who or what was there. At first they thought it was a raccoon, but when they opened up the blinds, their eyes landed on an alligator.
The sound they heard was the gator's tail whacking the accordion hurricane shutters. A trapper was sent to their house to safely remove the creature.
Experts believe the alligator came from a canal located behind the couple’s house.
