California School District Hires Firm to Monitor 13,000 Students’ Social Media

A suburban Los Angeles school district is partnering with Geo Listening to monitor about 13,000 students’ social media activities. It will look for posts dealing with depression, bullying and anything that violates the school’s code of conduct.
