Whisky.com tastes the Russell's Reserve 10 years. The whiskey has been matured in very heavily cared barrels so the whiskey became very smooth and mellow.
The nose:
Smooth and full with caramel and vanilla. In the back you find an oakiness.
The taste:
Also very smooth with developing spiciness, fruitiness and a lot of sweetness.
The finish:
Nice with sweetness fading out.
