Nasa Says 2012 Solar Superstorm Nearly Knocked Earth Back Into Dark Ages

Nasa says a solar superstorm in July 2012 narrowly missed earth. One of Nasa’s stereo spacecrafts was hit by the plasma cloud and data convinced scientists the Carrington-class CME (Coronal Mass Ejection) is the largest ever recorded.
