As scary as monitor lizards look, they are quite harmless to you and me. But if you're a mouse, snake or frog, you would definitely be on the menu. These monitor lizards cruise up and down the canal near the Thewet boat stop on the Chao Phraya River just past Rama 8 Bridge.
