OSCE finds large piece of fuselage at airline crash site

OSCE investigators head into the crash site in eastern Ukraine.

They encounter no incidents at the site.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) OSCE SPOKESMAN, MICHAEL BOCIURKIW, SAYING:

"Most, I guess you can put it as extraordinary, findings were over there. You can see they are quite big pieces, but in the wooded area there we saw what we believe to be the biggest kind of intact piece of the fuselage."

The head of the Dutch police mission in Ukraine also said it was difficult to get access to the site -- as the search for remains goes on.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) OSCE SPOKESMAN, MICHAEL BOCIURKIW, SAYING:

"We saw remains yesterday and we saw one spot of remains again today. Above and beyond that we haven't seen any (other remains)."

A Malaysian passenger plane flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was downed in Ukraine last week, killing all the 298 people on board.
