Two brothers in Idaho share a heartwarming bond and they recently competed in a triathlon as a team to show the world their incredible love for one another. 6-year-old Lucas Aldrich is the younger sibling.

He lives with a rare neurological condition called lissencephaly. Sadly, he’ll never able to do normal things like feeding himself, walking or even talking.

The boys trained together for three months to get ready for the YMCA triathlon.

While Noah did the majority of the work, Lucas was usually right alongside him. On July 12th, they were ready.

Noah placed a special harness around his torso for the 200 meter swim and pulled his brother in an inflatable raft. The older bro then hopped on a bicycle and pulled Lucas in a trailer for three miles.

After that, Noah took part in a one mile run, all while pushing his brother in a stroller.

The boys’ mother Alissa commented “It's just amazing to see the love between the brothers, and the willingness of Noah, that he wants to do something like this to include his brother in an event that a lot of kids with special needs would never get to do.”
