The SME Incubator Center in Niger, or CIPMEN, just opened its doors. It is a non-profit public-private partnership which supports fledgling Nigerian businesses, in the ICT, renewable energy and environmental sectors. It is the country’s first incubator. Orange provided its technical expertise for the establishment of this new innovation center based in Niamey.

In late 2013, CIPMEN launched its first call for applications to select the businesses entering the incubator in 2014. It will provide technical support to the businesses selected in order to boost rapid growth, to achieve high visibility thanks to numerous events, and to help access financing from financial partners.
