A Diplomate of the Philipine Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Catapang had her residency training at the very prestigious Institute of Ophthalmology at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City after internship at the United Doctors Medical Center and graduating from the College of Medicine at MCU-FDTMF.She practiced Ophthalmology at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City for 13 years until she went on a private mentorship for four years with Dr. Hanjin Kwon, a Korean Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgeon, on Aesthetic Medicine and has since shifted her practice to this particular field of Medicine. These years of training and exposure makes her truly an expert on Aesthetics.Her Face Sculpting Botox technique has gained so much admiration from her colleagues all over the world. Under the supervision of German doctor, Dr. Wilhelmus Van Ewick, she trained on Cell Therapy and on Placenta Therapy with Korean doctor, Dr. Peter Baek. Incorporating all these knowledge, her clinic, REJUVENA CARE (Chronic Diseases, Age Management, Rejuvenation and Aesthetics) CLINIC now offers the CMET (CELL METABOLISM ENHANCEMENT THERAPY)
She also co-hosts the longest running Health and Travel show on ABS-CBN’s Sports + Action Channel 23, GENERATION Rx and a regular segment host on UNTV’s Rise and Shine, a magazine type morning show, where she features simple acts of kindness captured on video or photo by the viewers. Her expertise has also been featured on various local television programs including Rated K, Salamat Dok, Umagang Kay Ganda, Unang Hirit, and Trending Now among others.She is also a licensed Optometrist, where she landed on the top twenty of the Optometry Board Exam.
Apart from her membership in various local specialty organizations, she is also a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
She is the brains behind the International Academy for Aesthetic Sciences, which aims to professionalize the field of Aesthetics by providing comprehensive education and training in all the fields of non-surgical Aesthetics, from Cosmetic Nursing to simple Facial Therapy.
