An artisan who produces artwork with small shells.. He is the master artisan of Najun Lacquer Ware, Son Dae-Hyeon. Last November, his hard work for continuing and transmitting Korean traditions were highly recognized, and Son Dae-Hyeon received the 'Cheoltop Order of Industrial Merit.' To him, mother-of-pearl is a life he cannot change for anything else. Having started making Najun Lacquer Ware at age 19, he has been walking the same road of life for over 30 years.
