Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri has challenged the Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz sharif to an open debate. Dr. Tahirul Qadri has challenged Nawaz Sharif to discuss the governance affairs with him anywhere he would like to. He said that it would be better for Nawaz Sharif to decide the venue and date of the debate before the ‘day of revolution’ so that it gets easier for him to find a respectable way out of the government.
Dr. Qadri was talking to a press conference held at Minhajul Quran Internation (MQI) Secretariat in Model Town, Lahore today (Friday). Tahirul Qadri has laid down twenty points for the debate. The 20 points include interior and foreign affairs, accountability, electoral system and privatization policy. Tahirul Qadri has also challenged Nawaz Sharif to debate the way of staff recruitment in national institutions.
He said that it will be much better for the government to decide a date and venue as it is clearly a more dignified way of leaving the government. The other option will be of revolution which will not only make them lose the government but also their dignity, said Tahirul Qadri.
