Residents in the eastern Ukrainian town of Snizhny are digging out from a deadly air strike.
The attack destroyed a residential building, killing at least 11 and injuring eight others.
The town sits just outside the border with Russia.
Separatists say the attack came from a Ukrainian warplane.
But military officials say no planes have taken off because of a current search and rescue operation.
The attack is the latest in escalating violence between the government and separatists in the east.
The ongoing unrest is serving to help recruitment in Kiev.
On Wednesday, family members, girlfriends and others said goodbye to dozens of volunteers joining a pro-Ukraine militia.
