Reportedly, Volkswagen Polo facelift is launched in India for Rs 4.99 lakh. With this new vehicle the automaker had also brought the all-new 1.5-litre diesel engine to the country.
Confirming changes, the 2014 Polo is done with new single slat front grille, flash of chrome on air dam, new headlamps, redesigned rear bumper, and new orange paint shade with fresh set of alloys.
The changes made inside the cabin starts with all new three-spoke steering wheel, the two-tone central console and silver pin striking to complete it all.
Under the hoods, technicalities are restored with 1.2-litre MPI and 1.2-litre TSI petrol units, with the new 1.5-liter diesel engine in two states of tune -- 89bhp and 104bhp. All the transmissions are transferred to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox.
